Discover Bancroft - Ontario's Hidden Gem

Bancroft Ontario is one of Canada's finest outdoor playgrounds. With an endless selection of recreational vehicle trails and natural resources to satisfy all ages, Bancroft and surroundings is sure to please. The Hastings Heritage Trail is a 156 km multi-use trail which follows an old abandoned railway line. It is a four season trail commonly used for walking, skiing, biking, horseback riding and recreational vehicle riders. The trail starts in Glen Ross to the south and heads north to Lake St. Peter. Enjoy the many stops along the way as you tour North Hastings.

Fam Tour

On April 20th, 21st, and 22nd, 2012 marked our 11th trip around the EOTA trail system on a 3 day tour we call the FAM (familiarization) Tour. It’s to give new members, and old ones too a chance to see where these trails lead to without fear of getting lost. A total of 11 members signed up for the 600 km. trip. We start booking all of accommodations once we feel out some interest within the club membership. We ask for 10 - 15 participants and finalize our plans once we reach 10. 10 to 15 seems to be the perfect number of riders for a group ride. It’s not too difficult to keep track of everyone in your group. It seems to be easier to get to know that many people in a 3 day weekend.
