Bicycling is a great outdoors option and recreational activity that you can enjoy in the area serviced by the Eastern Ontario Trails Alliance region Spring/Summer/Fall.
Eastern Ontario has become a recognized cycling and mountain biking destination. The EOTA offers a multitude of routes, trails and biking adventures for every preference and ability, whether for day trips or a week or more. With a trails system second to none, there is a lot to explore in Eastern Ontario and along the EOTA's managed trail lines.
With many kilometres of bicycling trails running from East to West and North to South, the EOTA offers exceptional long road cycling tours and trail mountain biking. Come out with your own group, join a local biking group or simply plan your own self-guided biking vacation.
Bicycling is a great physical activity that allows appreciation of local natural areas and the outdoors. Mountain biking on trails can be vigorous and exhilarating, while road cycling tends to be smoother and quieter. Any bicycle trip offers the chance to really change gears from your everyday routine, flex your muscles, explore, reflect and relax at day's end. Couple that with a well rested stay at one of many great local accommodations, throw in some fine meals and you will have the perfect recipe for enjoying the EOTA at its best.
